Services for Parents of I/DD kids & adults
Many of our loved ones live with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD). Now, there are programs like Client Services where DSPs can help us take better care of them. Gone are the days where we are left on our own to manage it all by ourselves. We're here to get you on the right path!
As parents of an I/DD daughter & owners of a Medicaid-Certified agency, we get the ins & outs to better serve other parents in a similar 'boat'. As we grow beyond competition and into collaboration, we can all benefit from greater outcomes. So, we're working on creating win/win/win scenarios to ensure that we all benefit!
Our Vision & Mission
Vision (our why): Seeing families with I/DD thriving at home, financially, and in the workplace.
Mission (how): Providing I/DD Living Support Services with some of the highest wages available, while working to offer Independent Living Communities for I/DD individuals.
Agency Intentions
- Our goal is to empower parents of individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) to take a more focused role in caring for their loved ones, in lieu of outsourcing to underqualified support professionals. This will also assist in preparing them for graduation, transition, employment, & independent living. Because of the exponential growth of children with disabilities, this is beginning to fill a much-needed niche, now & the future.
- This agency has been created for our daughter, Sophia (20 w/Down Syndrome), while we worked for two different agencies, to support Sophia & her group of friends in their afterschool program, as well as everyone else that joins.
- Given the known benefits of community, we aim to create more opportunities for our clients to connect & socialize.
